Medicare Patients
Comprehensive Medicare Coverage
- At Orange Coast Home Health, we prioritize delivering high-quality health care right to your home, ensuring you receive the necessary services comfortably.
- Medicare beneficiaries can receive home health care services with no out-of-pocket costs, as Medicare covers 100% of the expenses.
- With full coverage from Medicare, our patients can focus solely on their health and recovery without worrying about co-pays or deductibles.
Understanding Your Coverage
- Medicare Part A and/or Part B: You must be enrolled in either Medicare Part A (Hospital Insurance) and/or Medicare Part B (Medical Insurance).
- Homebound Status: Your doctor must certify that you are homebound, meaning leaving your home requires considerable effort and assistance.
- Skilled Care Requirement: You must require skilled nursing care, physical therapy, speech-language pathology services, or continued occupational therapy.
Medicare covers various home health services when you are eligible, including but not limited to:
- Skilled Nursing Care: Part-time or intermittent care provided by or under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- Physical Therapy: Services that help you regain mobility and improve physical function.
- Medical Social Services: Support from social workers to help with emotional and social aspects related to your illness.
- Home Health Aide Services: This service is provided by home health aides, which do not include custodial or personal care alone.
